About BetterAt
Hi, I’m Jared, creator of BetterAt. The idea here is simple — I like getting better at things, and I often find that what I need is real-time feedback to train my brain how to do small things, whether pronouncing a tone in Mandarin or singing or knowing the odds when I play Blackjack or Poker.
One of the things I’ve been trying to get better at is vibecoding — and pushing this into production is one way to force myself to get BetterAt that. If I’ve done my job well, you’ll find that this site is the best way to practice pronouncing Mandarin tones, memorizing the rules of Blackjack, understanding the odds underneath poker, and refining your musical skills (at least where singing is concerned).
I’ll almost definitely keep adding modules as I go, and if there’s one you’d like to see (or you have a change you’d like to suggest that you think will make things better for the median user) feel free to shoot me a note at: JaredSleeper at Gmail . com.
This app is free, but if you’ve read this far I won’t miss the opportunity to plug my blog, SleeperThoughts, and my Twitter presence, which is where most of my public-facing writing appears. Twitter in particular is the best way to follow updates to BetterAt.
